Israel has carried out strikes on more than 250 military targets in Syria, Israeli Army Radio reported, citing an unnamed source.

The operation is described as one of the largest in the history of the Israeli Air Force. Targets included military bases, dozens of fighter jets, air-defense systems, production facilities, and missile depots, according to Israeli Army Radio.

The London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) also reported the attack, detailing strikes across Syria, including in the Latakia governorate, where there are Russian military bases. In Latakia, SOHR stated that Israeli forces targeted an air-defense site near the port and military storage facilities.
