Russian presidential hopeful Boris Nadezhdin finds printing house to publish campaign materials after 60 other printing companies refused

Russian anti-war presidential hopeful Boris Nadezhdin reported finding a printing house that agreed to publish his campaign newspaper, he wrote on X (formerly Twitter) on February 4.

Nadezhdin didn’t specify which printing house agreed to publish the newspaper. On February 3, independent outlet 7x7, citing a source from Nadezhdin’s team, reported that a Moscow printing house (which had been paid around 4.5 million rubles or around $49,000) was supposed to print Nadezhdin’s newspaper. At the last moment, however, the printing house refused, citing an order from “above,” and returned the payment.

Nadezhdin’s team then appealed to over 60 accredited printing houses in Moscow, the Moscow region, Voronezh, and Nizhny Novgorod, who all refused.
