Mikhail Danilov, the owner of the Mutabor nightclub in Moscow where TV presenter Nastya Ivleeva’s “almost naked” party took place, gifted fragments of relics of Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker to a Moscow church, the club owner told the Mash Telegram channel.
According to Danilov, he bought the relic fragments from the Vatican in November and waited until January to give them to the church for Orthodox Christmas. “We have several clubs, including Mutabor, which has become famous due to recent events. But we say that we are against obscurantism, devilry, we support the church,” Danilov said in a video posted by Mash.
Earlier, the TV channel REN reported that the Russian Authors’ Society sued the Mutabor nightclub for 537,000 rubles (around $5900) as compensation for the music that allegedly played at the “almost naked” party.
