Denis Pushilin, the Russian-appointed head of the annexed “Donetsk People’s Republic,” signed a decree on Sunday imposing a curfew on the territory controlled by his administration.
According to the document, the new restrictions will be in place from 11:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m, during which time private and public traffic will be prohibited without a special permit.
In addition, the decree bans all protests and public gatherings as well as introducing “military censorship” for all mail, Internet, and phone communications.
