Russian Economic Development Ministry shifts employees to remote work until September 1 after office hit in Moscow City drone attacks

Russia’s Economic Development Ministry will require its employees to work remotely until September 1, the newspaper Kommersant reported on Thursday, citing a copy of an order issued by Economic Minister Maxim Reshetnikov.

In addition, Reshetnikov instructed employees to review the agency’s “recommended actions for government complex personnel in the event of a threat or act of terrorism.”

The Economic Development Ministry first moved its employees to remote work after its main office in the Moscow City business district was hit by a drone on July 30 and again on August 1. After the second incident, the agency announced that it would “temporarily” shift to remote work but did not specify for how long.
