Wagner Group founder Yevgeny Prigozhin released his first public statement since June 26 on Monday.
In the audio message, which was posted on the Wagner Group-adjacent Telegram channel Grey Zone, Prigozhin thanked Russians for their “support” and insisted that his June 24 “march of justice” aimed to “fight against traitors” and “mobilize our society.” “I think we achieved a lot of that,” he said.
The former mercenary boss also said that everyone will see “our next victories on the front” in the coming days.
Prigozhin did not give any information about his plans for the future or his current whereabouts.
