One person has been killed and 16 more injured in a Russian drone strike on the Ukrainian city of Sumy, where two apartment complexes and an office building have been damaged by four Shahed-136 drones late Monday morning.
The attack took place around 10:48 a.m. local time.
Footage published on Telegram shows the moment when one of the drones struck an apartment building, where a fire broke out after the initial blast.
The Telegram channel Suspilne News has posted photos and video footage from the scene.
According to Sumy Deputy Mayor Stanislav Polyakov, the final number of casualties is still being verified.
