Ukrainian troops carried out a missile strike on an area in the occupied part of the Kherson region where Russia’s Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov had concluded a visit just minutes earlier, Russian state media reported on Sunday night.

According to the Russian government, Manturov traveled to the occupied town of Henichesk on June 9 to inspect local trade facilities and meet with the Kherson region’s Moscow-installed “governor,” Vladimir Saldo.

On June 10, the Telegram channel Operational Reports reported that the Ukrainian military had attacked the Arabat Spit in the Kherson region and that Manturov’s visit to the same site had occurred “at roughly the same time” as the strike, with a difference of “literally just several minutes.” The Russia’s Industry and Trade Ministry confirmed that Manturov visited a spot that was later hit with British Storm Shadow missiles.
