Kursk Governor Roman Starovoit reported that “several Ukrainian drones” were downed by air defenses near the regional capital on Thursday night.
“We ask Kursk residents to remain calm. The city is under the reliable protection of our troops,” Starovoit wrote on Telegram, providing no further details about the attack.
According to the Telegram channel Baza, a total of eight drones were shot down. Debris from the weapons reportedly damaged several residential buildings.
