Russian troops shelled the city of Mykolaiv on the night of May 13. Mykolaiv’s governor, Vitaliy Kim, reported that a five-story apartment building was damaged and a two-story industrial building was destroyed. The attack sparked fires in both buildings, which were extinguished. Three people were injured.
According to local authorities, Shahed drones were used in the attack.
The head of Kyiv's City Military Administration, Serhii Popko, reported that all the “kamikaze” drones used to attack Kyiv were shot down.
In the Khmelnytskyi region, the drone attack caused a fire at an industrial plant. According to the Khmelnytskyi regional administration, 21 people were injured.
Ukraine’s Air Force Command reported that Russia launched 21 drones into Ukraine, 17 of which were shot down by Ukrainian air defenses.
