Germany to supply Ukraine with largest military aid package yet, worth 2.7 billion euros

Germany will supply Ukraine with military aid worth a total of 2.7 billion euros (nearly $3 billion), reported Der Spiegel. This would make it Germany’s largest military aid package to Ukraine since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion in February 2022.

The package includes:

30 Leopard-1 tanks;
20 Marder infantry fighting vehicles;
15 Gepard anti-aircraft tanks;
200 reconnaissance drones;
four IRIS-T SLM air defense systems;
18 wheeled howitzers;
100 armored vehicles.
