A Moscow court arrested Bogdan Tsyganenko in absentia. Tsyganenko is the second suspect in the murder of Daria Dugina, a pro-war pundit and the daughter of Eurasianist philosopher Alexander Dugin.

The FSB referred to Natalya Vovk as the alleged perpetrator and said that Tsyganenko and Vovk “assembled the bomb together.” According to the FSB, Tsyganenko provided Vovk with fake license plate numbers and documents. Both Tsyganenko and Vovk are Ukrainian citizens.

The FSB declared that Tsyganenko was involved in the murder of Daria Dugina in August 2022. Vovk was arrested in absentia in November of the same year. It is not yet clear why Tsyganenko was arrested in absentia only in April 2023.
