The Ministry of Justice has put Anton Dolin, Meduza’s film critic, on its list of “foreign agents” in media.
Newly added to the list of individual “foreign agents” are Tikhon Dzaydko, editor-in-chief of the television channel Dozhd (TV Rain); Kira Yarmysh, spokesperson for opposition politician Aleksey Navalny; and Dmitry Nizovtsev, host of the Navalny team’s YouTube channel.
The list of “foreign agents” in media also now includes, alongside Dolin, Veronika Kutsillo and Ivan Zhadaev, former employees of MBKh-Media, Mikhail Khodorkovsky’s media outlet; Natalya Telegina, a former employee of Otkritaya Media, another Khodorkovsky-backed publication; Vladimir Ruvinsky, a former columnist for Vedomosti; and journalist and professor Kirill Kharatyan.
The ministry also added the Vesna (Spring) movement to its list of unregistered public associations that act as “foreign agents.” A few days ago, Russia’s federal financial monitoring agency included Vesna on a list of terrorists and extremists.

Vesna
A social movement whose activists called for anti-war actions after the beginning of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. At the end of September, the St. Petersburg prosecutor’s office demanded the movement be labeled “extremist.”
