On March 18, Russian health officials announced that they recorded 33 new cases of coronavirus in the previous 24 hours, bringing the country's number of confirmed COVID-19 infections to 147.
Of the latest coronavirus infections, 31 were confirmed in Moscow, one in the Tomsk region, and one in the Novosibirsk region.
A day earlier, on March 16, Russia recorded 21 new cases of coronavirus.
