See the aftermath of one of Russia’s largest attacks on Kyiv. Apartment buildings lie in ruins, more than 20 people were killed, and dozens were injured.
Russian forces attacked Kyiv overnight on July 2 with drones, ballistic missiles, and cruise missiles. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said the strike on the Ukrainian capital was the most massive since the start of the full-scale war. All districts of Kyiv sustained damage; the latest figures show at least 21 people were killed and around 90 were wounded. City authorities warned that the casualty toll is not final, as rescuers are still working through the rubble. July 3 has been declared a day of mourning in Kyiv. Meduza shares photographs of the aftermath of the Russian strike.
