The Russian Premier League is back! Spectators included.

On June 19, a match between Russia’s “Krylya Sovetov Samara” and “Akhmat Grozny” soccer teams kicked off the return of the Russian Premier League, which was interrupted due to the coronavirus pandemic. Now, Russia has become the only country in Europe (with the exception of Belarus, which didn’t interrupt its championship at all), where games were opened up to fans immediately. That said, the stadiums can’t be filled past 10 percent capacity, and all of the spectators in the stands have to wear masks.
