The White House has confirmed that U.S. President Donald Trump plans to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky “at some point” during this week’s NATO summit in The Hague, Sky News reported on Tuesday.

In an earlier interview, Zelensky told Sky News that Ukrainian and U.S. officials were still working on the organizational details and timing of the meeting.

The two-day NATO summit in The Hague got underway on Tuesday. FT journalist Christopher wrote on X that Trump told journalists aboard Air Force One that he will “probably” meet with Zelensky at the NATO summit on June 25.

“People close to the Ukrainian President tell me as well that they are hoping a meeting will take place, preferably one-on-one, like at the Vatican, which is how Zelensky believes he is best able to communicate with Trump,” Miller added.

The last time Trump and Zelensky met was at the Vatican in April, on the sidelines of Pope Francis’s funeral.
