Russian Defense Minister Andrey Belousov has arrived for an unannounced visit to North Korea for meetings with the country’s military and political leadership, the ministry reports.
The Russian delegation was greeted at the airport by representatives of the North Korean army and Defense Minister No Kwang Chol.
The Russian authorities have not provided further details about the visit.
