A missile struck a nine-story apartment building in Ukraine’s Sumy, killing 10 people, including a nine-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl, city authorities reported. Sixty-three people were injured, eight of whom were children.
According to local Ukrainian authorities, Russia launched a missile strike on Sumy on Sunday evening. Later that night, Russian forces carried out another strike, likely with a ballistic missile, targeting the city’s critical infrastructure and causing a power outage, local officials reported.
