The Russian Justice Ministry designated Russian standup comic Denis Chuzhoi as a “foreign agent” on Friday.
The ministry accused Chuzhoi and others added to the “foreign agents” registry of disseminating “false information about decisions made by Russian public authorities and the policies they implement” and “opposing the special military operation in Ukraine.”
Chuzhoi has lived outside of Russia since the summer of 2022.
