Ukraine's General Staff said in its daily briefing on Monday that fighting is still ongoing near the village of Klishchiivka in the Donetsk region.
According to the report, Ukrainian troops “are continuing to carry out assault operations near Klishchiivka in the Donetsk region, causing significant manpower and equipment losses for the enemy, and consolidating their positions on the achieved frontlines.”
On Sunday, Ukrainian officials reported that Klishchiivka had been liberated. In particular, President Zelensky's chief of staff, Andriy Yermak, published a video of Ukrainian soldiers in Klishchiivka with a message of gratitude, and Zelensky himself praised the soldiers in the village for liberating it in his daily video address.
