Poland’s Internal Affairs Minister Mariusz Kamiński reported that the country would ban entry to cars with Russian license plates starting at midnight on September 17.

“Russian trucks are already subject to this ban. The matter is now closed. Not one Russian vehicle will enter Poland. […] This applies to all vehicles, both used for commercial and for personal purposes,” explained Kamiński.

According to him, this ban applies to both residents of Russia and other countries travelling in cars with Russian license plates. Kamiński added that “vehicles registered in Russia don’t have the right to enter Poland.”

Finland, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania have all banned entry to vehicles with Russian license plates.
