Belarusian Defense Ministry says Wagner Group fighters are in the country working as military instructors

Wagner Group fighters have begun working as instructors at new “training grounds” for territorial defense forces in Belarus’s Mogilev region, according to a segment aired by the Belarusian Defense Ministry’s TV network on Friday.

In footage of training sessions at the grounds, the purported Wagner Group instructors are shown wearing masks.

It’s unclear how many Wagner Group members are located in Belarus, though the monitoring group Belaruski Gayun has reported that the number could be around 200.
