After Vladimir Putin’s brief speech to the nation on Monday night, he held a meeting with the heads of Russia’s security agencies to discuss the aftermath of Yevgeny Prigozhin’s weekend rebellion. The outlet Verstka has noted that according to the Kremlin’s official site, Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev was not one of the attendees.
Earlier, the flight tracking service ADS-B Exchange indicated that the plane usually used by Medvedev had flown to Oman, where he is presumably still located as of Tuesday morning.
The former Russian president was last heard from publicly on Saturday afternoon, when he wrote on Telegram that “division and betrayal are the path to the greatest tragedy” and “the enemy will be destroyed.”
