Russian authorities confirm arrest of woman suspected of murdering pro-Kremlin blogger Vladlen Tatarsky

Russian Investigative Committee officers have arrested Darya Trepova, the woman suspected of carrying out the murder of Russian pro-war blogger Vladlen Tatarsky, the agency said in a press release on Monday.

According to the St. Petersburg-based outlet Fontanka, Trepova was arrested in an apartment she had previously rented in the city.

Earlier, the Telegram channels Shot and 112 reported that Trepova was renting an apartment just five minutes from the cafe where Tatarsky was killed on April 2. According to Shot, after the incident, Trepova went to the apartment, changed into different clothes, and then left the area.

According to the Telegram channel Mash, Trepova first rented the apartment in late March, after she arrived in St. Petersburg from Moscow.
