The Ukrainian military carried out a shelling attack on Melitopol Wednesday morning, Interfax reported, citing the Russian-installed regional authorities.

According to Russian first responders, the attack damaged facilities at the city’s locomotive depot, but there were no deaths or injuries. The infrastructure damage reportedly caused parts of Melitopol and several nearby villages to lose power.

The Ukrainian outlet RIA-Melitopol reported that local residents heard ten explosions and that strikes were recorded in various different areas.
