Russia’s Ministry of Internal affairs has put political scientist and consultant Abbas Gallyamov on the federal “wanted” list, reports Mediazona.
The ministry has not specified what the charges against Gallyamov are.
Gallyamov told Telegram channel Mozhem Obyasnit (We Can Explain) that the criminal charges are related to “discrediting” the army. On February 10, Russia’s Justice Ministry declared Gallyamov a “foreign agent.”
In the 2000s, Gallyamov worked in the presidential administration and as a speechwriter for Vladimir Putin. He currently lives outside of Russia.
