Vyacheslav Gladkov, the governor of Russia’s Belgorod region, reported that air defense systems shot down four missiles in the city of Belgorod and its outskirts on Monday morning.
According to Gladkov, one woman was injured and two private homes were damaged by the falling debris.
Since the start of the full-scale war in Ukraine, the Belgorod authorities have regularly reported drone and missile attacks in the region. In late January 2023, Gladkov said that a total of 25 civilians had been killed and 96 injured by Ukrainian shelling.
