Poland begins installing anti-tank barriers on borders with Russia and Belarus

Poland has begun installing anti-tank barriers on its borders with Russia and Belarus, the country’s defense minister, Mariusz Błaszczak, announced Thursday evening.

According to Błaszczak, the obstacles are part of Poland’s national defense and deterrence strategy. Writing on Twitter, he said the first barriers have already been set up on the country’s border with the Russian exclave of Kaliningrad.
