Moscow police arrested a man at Kursky Railway Station who tried to pass through the building’s metal detector while carrying explosives, Russian state media reported on Friday.
The outlet RIA Novosti reported that the man was carrying two antipersonnel mines, citing a source from emergency services. However, a law enforcement source reportedly told TASS that the suspect was carrying two F-1 grenades. The Telegram channels Baza and Shot, meanwhile, reported that the man had two antipersonnel mines, four artillery fuses, and one other explosive device.
Russian Railways told RIA Novosti that the station’s ground floor was evacuated.
According to the Telegram channel Shot, the suspect brought the explosives from the warzone in Ukraine.
