In Kyzyl, the capital of Russia’s Republic of Tuva, police put down an all-women protest against mobilization on Thursday. According to local media, officers arrested about 20 women and took their fingerprints.

Earlier on September 29, regional military commissar Artyn Demir-ool announced that Tuva had completed its mobilization campaign. He didn’t say how many people had been drafted in total.

The independent media project OVD-Info posted a video of one of Thursday’s arrests.
