Chinese citizen Wan Yunbin has been released from the infectious disease hospital in Russia’s Zabaikalsky region where he was being treated for the new coronavirus Covid-19, RIA-Novosti reported.
He was checked in to the hospital on January 26 and experienced a mild form of the disease.
On February 11, a Chinese student was released from the hospital in Tyumen where she was being treated for the virus. Her case and Wan’s were the only two coronavirus diagnoses recorded on Russian territory.
According to the National Health Commission of the People’s Republic of China, as of the morning of February 12, 44,653 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus infections in total. 1,113 have died, and 4,740 have been cured.
