The streaming service Amediateka, which holds exclusive distribution rights for the wildly popular television series Game of Thrones in Russia, apologized to its subscribers for a 90-minute delay in the broadcast of the show’s final season on the morning of May 20.

“We know that many of you woke up specially at 4:00 AM to be the first to watch the finale and to avoid spoilers. We completely understand the cost of those 90 minutes, and unfortunately, we cannot give that time back to you. We are very sorry,” the company announced.

Amediateka said the delay was caused by technical difficulties.
