Russia has called a sudden inspection of its armed forces and various ministries, including the Ministry of Communications, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the Bank of Russia, among others, to determine the agencies’ readiness to work in wartime conditions, according to a statement released by the Ministry of Defense.
The Russian state will be testing its readiness to function efficiently in the event of mobilization and military deployment.
Additionally, the Defense Ministry is expected to test the readiness of Russia's military industrial complex to engage in “the supply and repair of weapons and special military equipment” to support troops in the event of mobilization.
