The United Kingdom has produced most of Europe’s newest “unicorns,” while Russia is home to four of the older billion-dollar tech companies: QIWI (an online payment services provider), Ulmart (an Internet-based retailer for electronics), VKontakte (Russia’s most popular social network), and Yandex (a search engine and provider of many other services).
