‘America, wake up!’ Protesters gather outside U.S. Embassy in Kyiv to speak out against Trump’s handling of Ukraine and embrace of Russia

On Wednesday, demonstrators gathered outside the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv for a protest against Donald Trump’s Ukraine policy. The event — called “American, wake up!” — drew both American and Ukrainian attendees. In addition to addressing the American president, protesters called on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky not to trust Trump and to protest his country’s national interests.
