Several gunmen dressed in camouflage opened fire on spectators at the Crocus City Hall concert venue outside Moscow on the evening of March 22. According to Russia’s Federal Security Service (the FSB) at least 40 people were killed and more than 100 injured. Ambulances and firefighters rushed to the scene of the terrorist attack, as a fire also spread throughout the building, causing the roof to collapse. Eyewitnesses reported hearing several explosions.
