More than 100 people stormed a morgue at a local hospital in the city of Nazran, according to a source in the Ingush police, says the news agency Interfax

“In the afternoon, about 100 unidentified persons arrived at the morgue in Nazran and demanded access to the body of a militant killed during a raid. When they were denied access, they started a brawl, and—finding strength in numbers—they successfully disarmed the police officers and retrieved the body of the deceased,” said the source.

Police at the scene of the incident are now investigating the matter. No official information has been released at this time.

On Thursday, Russia’s National Antiterrorism Committee reported that five militants were killed and three militants were detained in antiterrorism operations in Malgobek and Nazran.
